I was feeling quite dissatisfied lately by most erotic/BDSM art I've found on DA and elsewhere, and this made me think what kind of art and artist I'd really enjoy. After some deliberating I have come to conclusion that there's at least one artist on DA whose works are perfect for me or directly opposite of perfect, depending on how you look. I'm talking about @VB1001 I like almost everything in their works, the scenes, the action, the art style, etc. But I want gender swap on it, i.e. I want all the Dominants and co-dominants to be Male and all victims/slaves to be female. This doesn't seem like too tall order, does it? Of course such an artist cannot exist on DA with its general anti-Male policy, where every artist who does even slightly Maledom art, even the mildest of the mild like @alstair2 or @medicswifee , gets mobbed, mass reported and eventually removed. But maybe on some other site? I could use some advice where to look for such things.
Over my many years on DA I've seen a lot of great talented artists who were either banned/suspended or gave up and left the site because of being constantly harassed by the site's censorship. A lot of them, more than I can remember, each talented and great in their own way, and, perhaps precisely due to their talent and unique imagination, unable to fit into this site's increasingly Puritan moral code (At least Puritan as far as #Maledom art is concerned. I don't particularly study non-Maledom art, but I couldn't help but notice that femdom art doesn't seem to bother anyone, even those including blood, gore, death, child abuse etc. As long as the victim is Male, nobody seems to care)
Yet I have to admit, lately not any single act of censorship as the suspension of @alstair2 Their page had become my favorite on the whole DA for the last few years, we may never see another Artist with this much skill and talent. And they didn't even have any hardcore stuff, let alone any guro or depictions of cruelty. As far as I'm concerned, at this point DA censorship stopped being a way to manage the site and shield its users from shock content and has become a crime against Art and against everything that's beauty.
So tired of the spammer notes… It's not even the spam that's annoying , it's the fact that every time I get a new note I'm getting my hopes up of receiving something pleasant, or at least meaningful info, from someone of my old or new acquaintances here.
I promise to myself on the course of 2021 to finally review my subscriptions on DA and pixiv and remove everyone not committed to Male Domination content. Was meaning to do this forever. Life is too short to waste time scrolling through boring stuff in (usually vain) hope to find some gems.
Today I noticed that whitehaven is also removed by the latest purge. That was another artist who made decent Male domination content. In the same time, the whole "femdom" crowd who show Men being tortured, humiliated and killed by women is pretty much untouched, I have yet to see a "femdom" artist banned or removed without notice. If this doesn't prove that there's a prejudice against Male domination, I don't know what does.
